The client had a page-by-page training spreadsheet: accurate, but all text. Coating happens inside a vacuum chamber, so the process can't be seen or photographed.
Approach
One visual for every narrated line
- Storyboarded line by line from the client's sheet, nothing added or removed
- Line art for drawings, motion for principles, 3D for equipment
- French voice-over, with visuals timed to the voice
- A quiz at the end of each module
